I have posted this website to tell you about the programs and services I offer as an educator and transpersonal psychotherapist.
For more that 20 years I have maintained a therapy and counseling practice using Past Life Regression as a primary therapeutic technique. During that time, through lectures, workshops and trainings for mental healthcare professionals, I have also had an active teaching schedule focused on
psycho-spiritual development and creativity.
I hope you find something of interest as you browse around the site. You’ll notice a page where you can post comments, should you have any questions concerning the programs offered or the ideas presented. If you would like to schedule an appointment for a session, you can email me at jzamoroso@verizon.net.
I appreciate your visit.

John Z. Amoroso holds a Ph.D. in clinical psychology and maintains a psychotherapy practice in the Philadelphia area. His interest and exploration of Past Life Regression Therapy and Transpersonal Psychology began more than 25 years ago when he was first introduced to the intuited psychic readings of Edgar Cayce and the spiritual philosophy in Eastern religions and Western mystical teachings.
During that time, he developed a technique that he refers to as Integrated Imagery. Through hypnosis and altered states, Integrated Imagery allows one to access not only past lives but between life and before life states, as well as biographical experiences. This regression process involves activating the positive while de-energizing the negative karmic patterns carried into this life.
He currently offers workshops in Integrated Imagery and a certification training program for mental healthcare professionals through Atlantic University in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
In September of 2009, his self help book -- Awakening Past Lives: A Guidebook to Self Exploration -- will be available to the general public. Over the course of the last 15 years, John also developed the Perennial Path Study Group program. Based on an integrated model of psycho-spiritual development, the Perennial Path enables small groups of individuals to meet regularly over a two year period to explore and enliven their spiritual lives. His experience as a painter, fine art photographer and musician along with his studies in transpersonal psychology, led him to develop another interest regarding the psychology of Creativity. Consequently, through workshops and individual sessions, John continues to work with artists and those interested in exploring their inherent creative nature, especially as it relates to their spiritual development.
John has lectured and facilitated workshops throughout the U.S. and in Europe. And, he has been an adjunct professor in four graduate school programs in transpersonal and consciousness studies.
In 1997, John started the Center for Transformational Studies (C.T.S.) which is dedicated to providing workshops, training programs and counseling services to those interested transpersonal studies, spiritual development and creativity.
